  • CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT POSITIONS - 2019

    ELECTIONS 2019

Virginia has elections every year, and this year, all 100 seats in the House of Delegates and all 40 seats in the State Senate are to be elected this year. Unions and worker rights are on the line. Your vote matters more than ever - so, on Election Day:Tuesday, November 5th, 2019, head over to your polling location and cast your vote for the leaders who will put working families first.

Below, find both your House and Senate districts to see: the candidates who are running, their voting records for worker rights** in Virginia, and their endorsement status results from the Virginia AFL-CIO Political Convention. Please use this information to assist you in making the best decision for you, your union, and your family when you head to the polls.

**NOTE - voting record for worker rights: if a person is already an elected official/incumbent of the district's seat, their voting record percentage will show how often they vote in favor of bills that pertain to dealing with the rights of workers and unions. If they are a new candidate, they have therefore, not had a voting record because they have not been elected and served in that position.
