This page is dedicated to the hard working men and women of the Virginia State Building Trades. Union members that have dedicated their careers to improving the lives of working class people across the commonwealth. Our belief is that everyone should have the opportunity to be a part of our organizations and provide a better way of life for their families. Our number one goal is to organize all those engaged in building and construction work into unions of their trade or craft. 

The Virginia State Building Trades represents approximately 20,000 union members working in all crafts across the state. The organization has been in existence since 1967 with many of the individual unions dating back to the late 1800's.

The purpose of this website is not only for our members but for those who wish to improve their lives by becoming a union member.
